I made three of these dresses, because they look more complicated to make than they really are. This is black linen with a bit of sashiko stitching - cool to wear in summer or over a tee shirt when the temperatures go down.

9. Press seams on hem slit

Press open side seams. Continue past the notch to press under 1cm(3/8") on slit in hemline.

(NB: for those who've used a serger and overlocked the seam allowances together, just press under edges after the notch.)
